Services
Use one service or all four. Most organizations start with an assessment so every application after it is aimed at funders who are a real fit.

Write
Complete foundation, corporate, state and federal proposals: the narrative, budget, outcomes, letters of support and every required attachment.
Manage
Reporting, reimbursement requests, compliance and closeout, including Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) rules, so an award never turns into a paperwork problem.
Ongoing
Continuous funder research and a steady pipeline of applications for organizations that don’t have grant staff of their own.
Who we serve
Housing, workforce, food access, youth and community development organizations that need more funding but don’t have a full-time grant writer.
Villages, townships, cities and counties pursuing infrastructure and community projects through state and federal programs.
How it works
No one can guarantee an award. We’ll tell you plainly which grants are worth your time.
A free, no-obligation call about your programs, your budget and the funding you’ve had before.
We research funders and agree on a calendar of the applications worth your time.
We write the application with you, gather attachments and prepare a complete package for you to submit before the deadline.
We prepare reports and compliance documents alongside your staff so you stay in good standing for the next round.
About
William C. Henderson IV, MPA · Principal
William spent his public career on the other side of the application. At the Ohio Department of Development he administered Community Development Block Grant programs: he wrote program guidelines, review tools and scoring criteria, trained applicants, and monitored grantees for compliance. He also managed the division’s Economic Development and Revolving Loan Program.
Before that he was a project manager at the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, working with local officials, economic developers and utility partners to bring projects to communities. He founded Henderson Community Funding to give smaller organizations the kind of grant support that larger ones take for granted.
